Properties
SOREXIL ® targets the joints. It promotes joint suppleness in horses and ponies, whether competing or not, as well as in older horses. It can also be used to treat pain in equines being monitored for joint disorders.
Doping Control
All batches of SOREXIL containing herbs or extracts are analyzed for possible environmental pollutants by the LCH (Laboratoire des courses hippiques), an internationally recognized anti-doping laboratory.
Once the final report has been received, the product file is reviewed by LSJ PHARMA's quality control pharmacist for release.
Administration instructions
Oral route
- Healthy athletic horses and ponies: 100 ml per day 4 days before, the day of and 5 days after competition.
Recommended during periods of intense stress on the joints of athletic horses.
- Horses and ponies treated for joint disorders:
Attack dose: 100 ml per day for 10 days.
Maintenance dose: 50 ml per day, repeated as needed.
- Older horses and ponies: 50 to 100 ml per day. The dose should be adapted to the horse's stiffness.
SOREXIL ® is administered once a day, either directly into the horse's mouth or mixed into the feed.
