Antoine Proutière

My name is Antoine Proutière, I have been practicing equestrian endurance at the amateur level for almost 5 years, with my 2 Thoroughbreds. This is a return to "activity" because I started horse riding at the age of 6, where I did jumping at the time. Then with age, I practiced other sports including speed-sail at a high level. I got back into horse riding at the same time as my son discovered it. But it was a vacation in the Cévennes, the cradle of endurance in France, that introduced me to this wonderful discipline.

Endurance is a long-distance race practiced on horseback and in the countryside. The goal is to cover a long distance at a set or free speed depending on the category (20 to 160 kilometers), while preserving the condition of your mount. To do this, mandatory veterinary checks are carried out regularly before the race, at the end of the loops and at the final finish. The rider and his mount progress together, in distance steps, to obtain their qualification for the next distance.

The use of Sorexil, a natural non-doping product (tested by the LCH), is highly recommended for endurance training in order to promote joint flexibility and rapid recovery after racing.
